Coat: Two varieties – rough and smooth. Rough is flat or slightly wavy and medium length. Smooth is short. Both are thick and straight. Their colors vary form bicolor, white,tricolor, solid, merle or sable.

Character: They are very energetic dogs with a sweet temperament.

Temperament: The Collie is highly intelligent, loyal, affectionate and get along great with children and other pets.

Care: Coats need to be brushed weekly. Collies shed a lot, take extra care during shedding to remove mats and tangles.

Training: These dogs are very difficult for the average person to train but they are always quick and eager to learn new commands.

Activity: This dog needs plenty of exercise. We suggest regular walks with this breed.
