Country of Origin: Great Britain.
Size: Shoulder height: 12 - 16 inches. Weight: 40 - 55 pounds.
Coat: The coat should be straight, short, flat, close, of fine texture, smooth and glossy.
Character: Bulldogs are affectionate, docile and reliable.
Temperament: This breed loves children. They are generally good with other animals but may get aggressive when there is food involved.
Care: Minimal exercise is needed for these lazy dogs. They should not be overexerted in hot weather. Their folds and wrinkles need powdered in hot weather.
Training: Bulldogs can be stubborn, so they do not make a good dog for someone who is big on obedience.
Activity: Very little.
