As we have a small but growing homestead, we have chosen to treat all of our animals from a homeopathic standpoint. All of our puppies are vet checked and in good health with no issues. We feed the puppies a balanced raw meat/bone diet with organs and boy do they love it! No potbellies, no loose stools, steadily gaining a pound a week! Since 3 weeks old, when we started to supplement with foods, the puppies have been following a 2 week on 2 week off rotation of apple cider vinegar and diatomaceous earth to prevent parasites and heartworm (as well as Mom and Dad). Since 6 weeks they have been receiving the recommended schedule for Heartworm, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Parvo, Kennel Cough, Hardpad (a form of distemper affecting paw pads and nose) and Canine Hepatitis through nosodes which is a homeopathic remedy made from disease material and then highly diluted as we do not believe in vaccines or medicated feed.
