We got "Harold" the Shepkita (now Maximus) right at around 9 weeks. We took him for his vet check the next day. He was 100% perfect with no issues or even worms in his stool. He has the sweetest, most cheerful disposition I have ever seen in an animal. At 11.5 weeks, he can now sit, stay and give paw. He is incredibly smart and very well mannered. I love love love this little guy!

My girl is now 3 yrs. old and she is an absolutely beautiful,well- behaved, even-tempered dog. Ziva is a registered service dog who is out and about daily, is extremely intelligent and is a joy to have in my life. She is my constant companion and assists me with my PTSD symptoms. She is a very special girl and is loved by many people. She weighs 116# and is very solid. She is jet black.

My husband and I owned Sadie for 16 years. She gave us so much joy. She was an Akita shepherd mix and was the smartest most lovable creature we have ever known. We would love to have another like her. My daughter had gotten her from the Door County Humane Society approximately 18 years ago. She had litter mates and her mother, a full Akita, was also there.

Hachi followed us home and after an unproductive search for his owner, not wanting to put him in a pound- my two year old granddaughter loved him, our cats were clearly safe with him, he was smart and already well trained he quickly became a beloved member of our family. He protected our home, gave me lots of company and exercise, I never felt safer in my life. Hachi was an indoor dog but an alpha so was never outdoors off leash. The best pet I could have asked for

my Akita mix was named Ellie and we adopted her from Animal Rescue of Tidewater (ART) of Virginia when she was 6 months old, year 2003. She was very attached to me and i loved her very much, she passed away November 23, 2013 suddenly. She was very attentive, loving and strong willed. She fought all the way till her body was exhausted in my arms. She will never be forgotten in my heart, like a child to me. She looked like the dog you have pictured at the top of the page, but more brown and white with a little black. Sure wish i could find another Akita Mixed that looked like her
