Last year, my family adopted an 8 week old Australian Shepard-Boxer mix. She is the sweetest girl, full of energy but also loves to cuddle. Smart enough to learn commands, but not smart enough to cause trouble. She’s a year and a half now and about 65 lbs, but still thinks she’s a lap dog! Easy to crate train and house train. Get this puppy and you won’t regret it!

Last fall lost our Akita/Australian Shepherd Mix, 14 yrs old. What a wonderful dog. He was a rescue who was suppose to be a german shepherd/husky. The DNA test said otherwise. The best of both breeds. Great dog to take camping with our other dogs. Beautiful color & coat, very smart, enjoyed being with all of the family and kept a watchful eye out. Hoping someday to have another one.

IN THE PAST, WE HAVE OWNED A AUSSIE-MIX (AUST. SHEPHERD/SHELTIE RESCUE THAT WAS ABUSED WHEN A OLDER WOMAN PUT CIGS. BUTTS OUT ON HER NOSE. CALI DID HAVE CUSHINGS DIEASE, THAT WE LOOKED OVER VERY CAREFULLY. SHE PROVIDED US WITH 12 YEARS OF THE MOST LOVE THAT AN ANIMAL COULD EVER PROVIDE. EXTEREMLY SMART DOG.

I have a wonderful Australian Shepherd Mix puppy, Bubbles. Bubbles' Mama was an Australian Shepherd, and her daddy was a Pit-bull Terrier. She is so obedient, smart, and affectionate. Great dog. Bubbles is very gentle with my five year old autistic son, Gabriel. I just love this breed.
