I had a beautiful dog which was part Bernese and German shepherd. He was the best dog I have ever had his name was Buck, he was the best. Buck had a very good sense of smell that he could find anything and he was very loyal and very smart and so very friendly. I just recently lost him due to health conditions, he was 13 years old. I miss him so so much. He was the best!

Wonderful breed!! Extremely laid back and sweet. We sadly just lost our Bernese mix of 14 years to cancer. Miss her so much. She was such a huge part of our family And although I know she can never be replaced our Aussie/border collie also 14 years needs a companion. Looking for a Bernese mix female. Have looked on rescue site but not much in Bernese available Hope to find one soon!!

We have a Bernese Mix, dad was pure Mt Dog, mom was Lab/Shepherd mix. This is by far the most intelligent, loving dog we have ever had. Don\'t buy this breed if you plan on leaving it alone all day or as outside dog. They need people. Does great with other dogs and small children. I have a 2 year old grandson. He never leaves his side when he is visiting.
