My Bich-poo, looks like a teddy bear. She is 12 years old and still loves to play and go for long walks. She snuggles with me every night when I watch TV, never leaves my side. She’s very good with my grandchildren and other children. These dogs do not shed, since they have hair, not fur, so needs grooming at least every 6-8 weeks. She’s also a good watchdog, always knows when there’s something outside our home, a person or an animal (deer, fox etc) she’ll bark. I definitely recommend this breed.

We bought a Bich-poo almost 2 years ago! It was the best decision we have ever made! He was potty trained in less than a week and rings a bell when he needs to go out. He sits, gives paw, gives high fives, and spins around. He listens extremely well! Teddy is the sweetest, most loving, and smartest boy ever! Teddy is the best thing that ever happened to us! Teddy has such a big heart and adorable personality and it is just adorable to watch him every day. He gives us lots of kisses and is very protective over us and loves to cuddle. He is great with kids and loves his family! He loves being held like a baby and LOVES lacrosse. I can't think of a better dog breed for a family. I would HIGHLY recommend getting one. After having a Bichon for 17 years we decided we would not get another dog. Our daughter had her own ideas. We drove to PA to pick up her Bich Poo puppy and what a fantastic dog. She doesn't bark has lots of patience and is a ball of energy when she gets wound up. She was pretty much potty trained after just a few days. She still has her accidents but we went through that with our Bichon during bad weather. She does back flips, chases her tail and bounces around like a kangaroo. She has brought a lot of smiles over the last few months. I highly recommend this small breed.

We adopted a bich-poo puppy from this website in 2017. She is the most amazing, sweet, well behaved, precious and adorable puppy ever! This is a wonderful breed. They do not shed, she is very smart and very loyal. Picked up on certain words right away such as “ride”, “walk”, our names and other things. Protects the house and looks out for us. Does not bite, great with other people and dogs, came outdoor potty trained and learned to bark at our back door when she needs to go outside. Playful and enjoys being with our family but also likes her own downtime alone to do her own thing or sleep. Grooming is done about every 6-8 weeks. The groomers at the place say she is well behaved and wonderful for her appointments. She isn’t very hyper or extremely active and unless she is playing or excited she is calm. Wonderful, wonderful breed and adopting our dog has been the best thing to happen to us. She brings us so much joy and love in our lives. 11/10 recommend this breed, out of knowledge and out of experience!

We had a bichon-poo for 17 years. She was a red ball of fur. Her name was Pookie, but we often called her Poo Bear. She was very smart but perverse at times. Her full time dog companion was a white standard poodle. Pookie thought that she was a big dog. Pookie learned to stay and sit but never learned to come. She was very affectionate and loved to be around our little grandchildren. We would find her curled up with the little ones on a bed taking a nap when the kids visited. She learned to pull on a string to ring a bell at the back door so that we would let her out into the back yard. She house trained easily and was my trusted companion for 17 years. She was my little moist heat pad in the winter up on the bed and she followed me around the house all the time. When our family visited my wife and me I think that they were happier to see her than us. She was healthy for most of her life but went blind and deaf at around 16 years of age. She never had very good hearing - well, let me say that she never paid much attention to what she heard (like commands, whistles, hand claps, etc..).But I don't think she was hard of hearing because she heard the refrigerator open from 20 feet away and was begging for food almost instantaneously. She was hard of listening and at times very willful - basically the bichon in the bichon-poo

Recently purchased a Bich-Poo from Mr. Glick/Rising Sun MD and my life has not been the same since. My little Dakota is such a joy! The review is accurate about the breed and they are smart, cute and such a nice edition to our family. Just be careful with bones as my vet said can cause major teeth and gum damage and blood in the stool so it's been a challenge shifting to chew toys but it's worth it. Very good breed and looking forward to having him for years to come.

A very friendly, playful dog that loves to do the Bichon blizz. They are a delight to love and not they love you back. As long as you keep their coat clean and groomed and hair away from their eyes and their privates clean we has no visits to the the vet. Only the routine shots. You can't leave them a lone more then two hours max unless you have trained them in a cage. Even then once they have adopted you they want to love you up. Good training is important with you have kids or a lot or people in the house. If they have more dog playmates it's easier on them and you. A good fenced yard is important. They love to run. Brush their teeth ! We groomed our two at home once we figured out what kind of cut we wanted them to have. If you give them a short cut and it's cool out side they will need a sweater or something. Most all just cuddle and love them up. You will have many years with them. We suggest not using a flee color . Natural or shots is a better way to go. One of our dogs did the popular flee colar and ended up with brain damage. Both lived past 18 yrs.

We bought a bich-poo from here a couple years back. She’s doing great now! She cane potty trained and listens very well. She is extremely smart too. They don’t shed and are the most cuddly dogs ever! They’re size is perfect! Not to small, not too big. Very, very well behaved and good girl. These dogs are not yappy either. HIGHLY recommend getting one. I love mine to pieces!

Me and my family recently got a puppy that is a Bich-Poo and he is the sweetest dog ever. He doesn't mind being in a crate during the day and when he is out of his crate, he's giving the best cuddles ever. At first his name was Maddox but renamed him Toby and he learned his new name in the first week. Very smart and lovable breed if you are looking for a family dog.

My childhood dog was a Bich-Poo. She was an amazing and smart girl, loved people, and did whatever she could to please. Potty training was easy as well as teaching tricks. Even when she was 7+ years old she was still very willing to learn new things. She passed away at the age of 15. An amazing dog, an amazing companion, and so so smart. I’d definitely consider getting another Bich-Poo.

I had my precious Barney for 15 years. He was playful, fun, loving, smart and affectionate. He was very easy to train; even as he aged. He suffered from allergies but other than an occasional stomach ache from eating the cat food; he was healthy. I miss him everyday and I have found the courage to become a pet parent again. We have two 6 year old bich-poos we adopted as puppies from a lady who was fostering them out of a shelter. We LOVE them. We are in our 70’s and have had Barkley and Daisy for 6 years. They don’t shed, are very smart and extremely affectionate lap dogs. We have trained them to do tricks using treats. They weigh 6 and 7 lbs and are extremely loyal. They will pee and poop inside at times, but they will go outside several times a day...especially in our new home where we can walk outside with them at ground level. We walk them for a mile or so twice a day causing them to be very healthy. They are barkers and can react quickly to sounds and people approaching and make good watch dogs; however, we are training them not to nuisance bark. If you want a loyal, adorable pup, get one! You won’t regret it.

We have a Bichpoo named Stella and we absolutely cannot imagine our lives without her. My husband has lots of allergies and never believed we could get a dog without him suffering from his allergies. But, that’s not the case with Stella! We’ve had her for 6 months and he hasn’t had any problems. She’s smart, loving and such a blessing to our family.

The very sweetest dog I ever had was a bich-poo which I bought through this website. Mischievous, smart, good endurance (tested constantly by my 5-yr.-old), EXCELLENT temperament. I taught middle school at a private school, and I brought Domino to school every day. He hung out in the classroom, and he loved it when we went to the field to play soccer. He was able to maneuver the soccer ball with his head while running at top speed, in and out of kids and feet. Absolutely amazing dog!
