We've had our cane corso lab mix for 7 years now. He couldn't be a bigger part of the family. He's a lover! He is wonderful with anyone and anything. He sleeps with our boys at night and from the time we brought them home he hasn't left their side. When face with an intruder a few years back he didn't disappoint. I've never seen him growl or show the "mean" side but man, when his family/property was a risk by someone he deemed wasn't supposed to be there he really stepped up. We used to joke that he'd greet a burglar with a lick and a wagging tail. We don't joke about that anymore. We'll definitely be owning another cane mix in the future. Great temperament and disposition. Only downfall is the life span.
