My Presa Cane Canario is named King. He is the most talented, smartest and most loving dog I've ever had. He turned 1yrs old in October and he has learned so much. He entertains us on a daily basis. He is also very protective of us but will warm up to someone after we let him know it's OK. I feel very safe in my home since I've had him. Hes great with kids even though we don't live with kids but gets around our grandkids. We have 4 other dogs from 12lb to 60lbs, he loves to play with them. He also has a bestie that he loves to visit on occasions. He is the perfect breed for us.

HELLO! I am Dr. Nelson, a veterinarian here in Bosten. I have two Cane Corsos, one male and one female. They are gorgeous, powerful, loyal, and big cuddlers. If you are a leader and willing to put in the required time into training your puppy you will have yourself a best friend for life! My CC's are fantastic with my brother's children and smaller pets. They are very aware when around strangers and trust their family for security. I am definitely getting a cane corso from green field puppies!

Amazing breed but very Stubborn strong-willed but one of the most loving, loyal breed and so beautiful ...... But you need to train then right or you will not b able to handle a breed like this... I rescue a shelther cane corso and wHat a challenge I was going to bring her back but I hung in as everyone around me said there not coming around because she was scary to them and fear gripped them ...... But hard work a year later my girl came a long way and I'm so thankful I rode it out!!! Now I want another one lol ....... But u have to train them or you will have a problem dog!!! That's y people give up on them......

Amazing dog bree ive had miss cleo since she was 4months. Only other two breeds that ive had to compare her with are a staffordshire terrier and a newfoundland. Highly recommend the breed for family pet gaurdian and companion my soon to be 5 yo daughter climbs all over her with out any fuss but the slightest roll over when shes done with play time.

Super loving and kid friendly.-however, they have a keen sense of right and wrong, and will break up wrestling kids in an instant. Miss my girl so very much! You do need to socialize them and show your dominance as the Alpha dog from a young age. My girl followed be from room to room, NEVER leaving my side. A truly loving and loyal Breed well as a wonderful watchdog.

Cane Corso Breed Review by Chad

I must say I have owned several different breeds of dogs and been around hundreds of dog breeds in my life. The Cane Corso is without a doubt one of the most impressive breeds you can own. They have moderate levels of activity, they are extremely trainable and they are great with a people and children. They are even tempered and have a high level IQ when deciphering trouble and they are not afraid to come for your protection. They are always watching and guarding their home. They love praise and I absolutely love their loyalty. The only negative thing about them I experienced was they can produce large quantities of slobber. I highly recommend this breed as they are an all around excellent dog.

Cane Corso Breed Review by T.P

The breed description is totally inaccurate in a couple of key categories. I have a 5 year old male CC raised since 16 weeks old. They are VERY trainable as anyone who knows anything about this breed will confirm. They are the opposite of “chill” as a watchdog. I’ve had dogs for 35 years including GSDs and Mastiffs and none were as watchful or territorial as my CC. I also disagree with the activity level—which I would classify as moderate.

Cane Corso Breed Review by Rev. Dr.Roger Lawson

Good afternoon to all. Thank you for this opportunity too address a breed that I love and admire. The Corso we as a family once had, gave us great love, fun, joy, companionship and awesome protection. Shelby was a permanent member of our family until the day she peacefully left us . I love Cane Corso because of their structure, strength, intelligence, commitment to their family, and truly because they are so peaceful with the children. My babies would lay on on Shelby even fall asleep on her if need be. Their mental strength is ever so amazing when walking, jogging, or playing games they come too love. So yes I want a Corso for all the stated reasons above. Thank you so much for having such a Royal Breed in your home and in their breeding. I hope we can purchase one of yours.Rev. Dr. Roger D Lawson Sr.

Cane Corso Breed Review by Scott

My Gaia is a very stubborn dog, but at the same time extremely smart and easy to train. Her prey drive is out the roof, there’s nothing she loves more than rabbit hunting and killing mice and woodchucks. At the same time she loves her family and thank god she’s the only kid I have besides another pup because she is to big to be around children and she loves to play way to hard. When it comes to people we don’t know she can be alil over protective though.

Cane Corso Breed Review by Theardis Martino

Great looking dog. I don't have personal experience with the breed yet I have had very good experience with exotic dogs and cats in my life time. The majority of the dogs I have owned were larger breeds (Akita; German Shepherd; Rottweiler; Airedale Terrier) and typically male. I am interested enough to pursue potential ownership of a Cane Corso dog.

I’m a huge fan of the pitbull breed. No matter mix, they are wonderful animals. They’re not a dog, but a part of the human world. You have to treat them with love and respect. I will never change my mind. If given the chance to be a huge part of the family, or “pack”, they learn their place and unconditionally love you forever no matter what the cost.

These are the best dogs ever if you like big dogs. Our Corso is very protective when necessary but loves the kids and is ok with anyone we are ok with. She even lives peacefully with our cats. We did socialize her early and sent her the K9 Foundation Obedience training class. I can't say enough good about the breed. But if you can't be a pack leader, this may not be the dog for you as they are large and can hurt someone if they are not trained appropriately.

I have a 5 1/2 year old cane corso/american bull female and a pure cane corso 3 1/2 year old female . Just love these dogs tho " Grand Finale", the pure cane corso is excessively shy. She also has started to have seizures which are really frightening. She is the younger dog., and has not had any health problems till now at over 3 years. Do dogs ever outgrow having seizures? Is this usual in this breed? I would really like to get a male puppy now, but this seizure thing frightens me. I am an 82 year old female, 100 lbs., and when Finn goes crazy as she does during one of these episodes, I don't know what to do. During her last seizure, luckily, she was in her cage/bed. She threw herself against the wall, and almost demolished her cage. She looked at me as though she would kill me if she could get to me. It only lasted about 30 minutes. The one before, she was frantic for 2 hours and 20 minutes, but she didn't get sooooo crazy, mean looking. She has had 7 seizures in about 6 weeks. Her vet has her on phenobarbital. She has not had another since starting the med. Please pray for us, and find a healthy cane corso brother for her and for my other dog who's name is "Made'n USA", who we call Maden. Thank you for listening. I live alone with my watch dogs, and pets. They a real comfort to me in my old age. Yours Truly, Bea W. Lowry

we have owned Gemma our cane corso for 8 months now. we are very impressed by how quick she learns, she was excellent to house break. she is very mellow and extremely loving to our family we , my girlfriend and i, noticed that when we don't take her to puppy day care she will get restless and want to play more with us. when we do take her to puppy day care she is much more docile. she never really when thur the puppy chewing stage, she only chewed up one of my socks but i was working a lot and never home with her. she is excellent with other animals and people. i take her with me almost everywhere i go. she rides awesome in a car. she is strong, smart and protective, good with people and other animals.....she is exactly what the breed was described as, we are very happy with her,one thing i want to mention is she is strong willed and if you allow she will quickly take the lead, i always make her sit to get her leash put on, i make her sit when i come home before i will pet her, i always go thru doors first then invite her, and NEVER let her up on the furniture i did some reading then watched that guy on tv that fixes dogs or whatever and he had very simple advice that i used and it worked very well. please do research about this breed before you get one, they are perfect if you want a dog that is big strong protective smart and loyal.

Greenfield Puppies

The Cane Corso originates from southern Italy, only known there until 1988, and is a close relative of the Neapolitan Mastiff. These muscular, athletic dogs are calm, even tempered, and easy to train. They form close attachments to their owners. They are very loyal and willing to please. Historically, this breed was used as a skilled watchdog and large-game hunter, hunting such animals as wild boars and cougars. The Cane Corso was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 2010. This large breed needs lots of exercise and loves taking long walks. They need very little grooming, just occasional brushing.
