I have owned may dogs throughout the years from Boxers to Beagles and even a German Shorthair Pointer. This has to be the smartest breed I have ever had and also the most loyal. I will never own a different breed again

We had a female Chessie who was our best friend for seven years. She loved all of the neighborhood kids and watched over my wife while I traveled for work. Everybody loved her. She passed from lymphoma recently, and we would love to have another Chesapeake.

My chessie was the best. Lost her after 10 yrs. Amazing friend, family member, loved to cuddle, was a big girl like 95 lbs. Loved car rides. Very trainable. Best dog for my grandson and kids in general loved , loved swimming in the pool. She had a good family life. We miss her terribly.♡

They are a very very committed dog they will be your best friend you've ever had very smart I've had to back to back they were my son's I could not have loved a human son no more than I did them,they were house pets,went everywhere with me,they are so committed to you if you want to jump into a volcano they would be the type son when you turned around falling they would be right behind you

love the breed . had a female named bear she looked jus like a grizzle bear. had her almost 12 years. they are the best breed to have if you have children. had a golden retriver for 12 years thought she was the best thing ever till i got the chessie. cried for days and weeks . still cry when i see he pic. loved that dog like a child. and she loved us.
