I have an 8 year old Chi-Poo. He was rescued from a hoarding situation and I found out his breed via DNA testing. I got him when he was 7 months old. He is the best. He’s a chill lap dog, but has the athleticism of the poodle. He still loves to do zoomies in the morning. Everyone I meet on his walks thinks he’s very cute (because he is.) I hope to get another one since his kitty friend passed away recently and he’s lonely.

My nearly 17 year old Chi-Poo very recently had to be put to sleep . He was my heart and soul. I have a hard time even thinking of life without him . I have had dogs all my life and loved each and every one . They all lived to ripe old age but my Sam was so special . My whole life revolved around him and his around me .In his honor, for he will forever be in my heart. I need to get another to fill my life . He would never want me to be alone.

We got our little girl, Leeda, 14 years ago. Her mother was a short hair Chihuahua and her dad was a miniature Poodle. She turned out with straight, fluffy, long hair. She never got heavier than 9lbs. Extremely attached to me, she would sit on the sofa in the living room and refused to move until I was home from work. She was very intelligent, lots of tricks and loved everyone and tolerated other pets. We lost her to aggressive cancer just this week. Eventually I plan to find one similar to her.

Anxiously waiting to adopt or purchase another Chi-Poo, or another Chihuahua mix puppy- preferably a little girl ! Due to a genetic illness, we lost our Chi-Poo on Monday, May 8th. My other dog is a Maltese, and like us, she is lost & saddened without her little "sister", but she's more than ready to show a new puppy "the ropes". We just can't wait for another Chi-Poo, or a Chi mix !

We loved our Chi-poo so much. We were so blessed because he was given to us at 4 months. Our hearts were broken when he died of heart failure at 9 months old. An autopsy showed he was born with heart issues. This happened in November 2016.
