My husband and I have been married 54 years and in that time we have owned 6 chihuahua dogs and 6 dachshunds dogs. They have always been part of the family and slept with us in our bed. They have always had the run of the house with no crate time only if we were traveling by car. We love them very much as well the dachshunds. Both breeds have always had the best vet care we could afford.

I adopted a 13 year old one from the shelter, his owner had to go into Assisted care. He just died at the age of 17 and I have never loved an animal more. The pet stores and adds want 1-2 thousand and I can only afford about half of that and I saw ads in Lancaster that were very reasonable. This time I’d like a young female dog. We will be there there on the 28 and29.

My best friend is a 3 lb. 10 year old registered Chihuahua, I nick named, Squeex. He is the most intelligent dog that I have ever owned in my 54 years. He is so in tune with me that he has been trained as my certified registered service dog. He is the reason I am alive today, he has alerted and saved my life on 5 separate occasions . I never go anywhere without him. I have been offered several thousand dollars for him more than once but there is not enough money in the world, I would ever sell him. So 5 stars are not enough for my Squeex.

We are now into year #2 with our 4th CHIHUAHUA MILLIE. The first 2 lived to be almost 13. Our 3rd one "BAMBI" lived to be 16 years and 3 days old and passed in my arms. All have been loving, devoted and wonderful companions. I will always have a CHIHUAHUA as long as I can take care of one.

We purchased our wonderful Maria 3 years ago from Mr. David Fisher and we just couldn't be happier. She is GREAT with children and strangers that she meets when we have her out and about and wasn't that difficult to potty train as I used wee wee pads and short amounts of time in a crate. I just cannot say enough about the quality of dogs Mr. Fisher raises.

My chihuahua puppy is everything I have wanted. He is extremely playful and bold. He never backs down to my larger dogs and thinks he is just as big as they are. Big dog trapped in a small dogs body. I recommend to anyone looking for a chihuahua puppy to go to GFP first.

I love my Chihuahua puppy I bought from a breeder on the Greenfield website! He is 8.5 months now, and is more bonded to me can I could ever imagine. He is so sweet, cuddly and smart. I will say, challenges include the fact that toy breeds are VERY hard to potty train because he cannot hold it all day, and he is not good with children. Most Chihuahua breeders will not even sell you a Chi if you have small children, for good reason. They like adults, lap time and cuddling, so they have a hard time with kids who want to play and wiggle too much, etc. My little man is my most favorite baby in the world! If you choose a Chihuahua, you are choosing the longest-living dog (often 18 yrs) who will follow you all of their days! Just be ready to repay their loyalty with lots of attention, because they are very high maintenance. To me, though, this is fun!!!!!
