I had a chiweenie for twelve years got him as an 8-week-old pup, they can be stubborn to train but I found that with encouragement and routine it is not that hard, yes accidents will happen but never ever hit or yell at them. Mine passed away on Veterans Day 2024 from cancer that I believe came from some mold (black) and mildew we found after the hurricane while replacing flooring. I am now looking to buy or adopt another one in the near future, in my opinion for older adults there is not a better breed out there.

Rebel is 3, he is a loyal, alert, active bog baby. He looks like a gargoyle when you pick him up and look at him. He is the smallest of four dogs. His brothers are pitty mix, and the leader is Anatolian shepherd. However Rebel loves to torment his siblings, and they tolerate it. So we took a kitten in, she is now 8 months old and he is getting his fair share of payback. We love our little man, he is such a joy. He is very needy though and expects to be cuddled a lot! We love him so much.

Our Aggy is about 4 years old, adopted from a shelter. I had no idea how great this breed is. Obsessively attached to me, can not get enough petting, has severe anxiety when left alone, weighs 13 pounds and is very strong. He can leap to the back of the couch from a standing position, thinks he is a sled dog when on a leash. Is very alert and an adventurer. He is always looking for "it" . Very polite dog and does not bark unless defending his territory. Very friendly with all other dogs at the dog park, loves to herd and chase other moving critters. Fast as a bullet, best dog I have ever known

This is by far one of my favorite breeds! My baby girl Mia is now 1 years old going on 2. Shes super playful when you want her to be but also down for a good snuggle whenever you are too! extremely loyal companions and very smart. Potty training is a little lengthy but extremely worth it. This cute little man/woman Is the cutest little angel in the world! I hope he/she finds an owner soon! I love these kind of puppies, I wish I could buy him but he is too much money. :( Well, I hope someone that really loves him like a little girl can adopt him and make him/her Happy like how all animals should! :) I'm rating him/her five stars because I think he is just so cute and going to get a very good owner. P.S. Tell Him/Her I hope he gets an owner soon that will love him as much as I do!!

Chiweenies are a smart, sweet and loyal dog. I have one older Chiweenie and I now have a litter of Teacup Chiwennies and I couldn\'t ask for a better breed. Great dog with kids and other people and pets if socialized the right way.

Very smart breed likes to burrow under blankets bundle of towels etc. A fierce guard dog must socialize early or will bark at neighbors friends etc. Great family dog.
