The property has been in our family fur generations. I am the sixth generation to own it, purchasing the property from my parents in 2020. Back Road Boarding has been a PA licensed breeding and boarding facility since 2017. Back Road Boarding is proud to be located in Halifax, PA. We are a family owned and operated business. Our name stems from our location: a back road in a quiet PA town. Rhonda’s Rottweilers is named after my mother and Murray’s Mountains and Murray’s Cream Of The Crop are named after my father. Previously housed and bred in our boarding facility, in 2021 we added a brand new state-of-the-art breeding facility with 12 runs, additional fencing, toys, and cameras. In addition to our fenced in play yards, Back Road Boarding sits on a 100 acres including a pond fur swimming!
