I’m not even sure where to begin, so I’ll start with how thrilled I am! I had a shepherd many years ago and have put off getting attached to another pet - when they pass, it’s so hard. My husband had been talking about getting a dog the last year or so and again I just wasn’t ready. I have most definitely been looking over time and I came across “Iris”. I immediately reached out to Makayla and the experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! The communication with the seller was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and incredibly informative. From the first message, I felt completely at ease, as they answered all my questions and provided me with detailed information about the dog's history.The seller even took the time to ask about regular updates, including photos and videos, which made the entire process feel personal and transparent. They truly went above and beyond to ensure I was prepared and confident about the adoption. When I picked up my new dog, it was clear they had been raised with love and care.I couldn’t be happier with my new girl, and I highly recommend Makayla to anyone looking for a new pet. I adopted my dog Cappo from Mikayla September of 2023 after a friend introduced us. He is just what I was looking for and I get compliments on him all the time. Our groomer loves shepherds and often asks for her contact information for other clients if they are looking for a puppy, or the other day at a rabies clinic I got compliments and shared her information with them. She has gone out of her way even to dog sit for me when I go on vacations, and helped with training, even letting me borrow equipment. The support from her has been greatly appreciated as I otherwise would've had to go with Petco or something and don't feel like Cappo would have been comfortable with that. He gets excited seeing his old family of dogs when visiting her house and it's nice to know the customer service is there still.

I purchased whom we call Gunner for our family last month. We could not be happier with the service we received and he was exactly as described! We initially made the 5 hour drive for a female puppy but asked that she let us meet him as well, once we seen how he interacted with the grandkids there was no turning back. If my husband would have let me I would have came home with them both as it was a tough decision, and even called him to ask if we could purchase both. I have shared the link to her breeder page with a few people looking for German Shepherds and will gladly purchase from them again. Thanks for our new furry friend!

My family recently adopted this sweet boy. He has been the calmest, sweetest puppy I cannot say enough great things about how well mannered he is. I would definitely recommend them to everyone! They were quick to answer when we called, very easy to communicate and set up a meeting (same day) with and all around awesome. If I ever decide to get a puppy of my own I will definitely be making the 5 hour drive to them again!

I had been on a waitlist for a year to get a puppy from Makayla after finding her in our local Shepherd group on Facebook in early 2023 but we weren't ready for a dog just yet and I missed out on the litter she had at the time. She followed up with me through the year while I patiently waited until my home life had calmed down to welcome a new puppy to our home. She reached out and sent me the listing on here for her litter a few months ago, and we picked up who is now named Stella on October 2nd. I could not be happier! We live on the second floor of an apartment building and are elderly. She did make sure to pair us up not just with a cute puppy but was a big impact on what puppy we chose. I feel like if we had gone with our first pick without her input we would not be as happy as we are with Stella as she said the other pup would have been too much energy for us. I am thankful for her open and honest communication over the last year and a half that brought us our sweet girl. I highly recommend her to anyone looking locally. Her vet was thorough and was willing to answer questions I had besides what was on her form that was filled out.

I purchased our girl a few weeks before Halloween as a surprise for my family (unbeknown to my husband) but I can say with great certainty that once he met Briar there was no turning back. She is everything that was described and more, well taken care of, and personable. Our vet was very pleased with how healthy she was and we have continued to share our great interaction with Makayla and her puppies with anyone who is looking for a Shepherd. Not only was she quick to respond with information even while she was not home, she was sure to get me the rest in a timely manner and allow us to pick her up our our convenience. I highly recommend her puppies as an addition to your family not just for the reasons listed above but because she cares and goes out of her way to make sure they are going to the right homes.
