A note from Mr Glick:

In 1986 (While I was being formed in my mother’s womb) my dear brother had a near-death experience. He had a lengthy recovery, and through a series of events, the Glick Family was gifted a Bernese Mountain Dog. My brother named her Heidi. Heidi was the first Bernese Mountain Dog in our area, and she turned heads and dropped the jaws of many people. I grew up hearing “What kind of dog is that?!?!” quite frequently. So naturally, my love for Berners runs deep. Our family quickly fell in love, and my father was soon to purchase another Berner. So as one can imagine, growing up on a dairy farm with a few Bernese Mountain dogs on the loose and an occasional litter of the most beautiful, softest, cuddly little teddy bears you can ever imagine went for some great childhood memories! Berners were quick to become my family’s mascot. After I got married and we had our first child (even though we do not live on a dairy farm) I knew that I want my children to grow up with animals. After discussing our situation, My wife and I decided that Berners is what it needs to be. We purchased our first girl, and the rest is history!
