Very pleased with our puppy, Gunnar, and with Jed and Rocky Ridge Kennel. They were super during the whole process, polite and informative. We purchased a Beaglier from Jed & Brenda Dec 2023. They are a lovely family, running a clean kennel facility, and we adore this pup! They cared very much that we meet the sire and dam (both onsite) and even helped with the extra vet checks and paperwork required to bring this puppy into Canada. Their puppies have been socialized with other dogs and with their lovely children. I am pleased with their attention and care in raising dogs. Thank you.

We received our German Shorthair Pointer and she is absolutely amazing. Sharp as a whip and perfect stature. Jed and Brenda were so helpful through our selection process and offered lots of help and advice. Great people and wonderful puppy!

When my wife and I arrived (albeit around 2 hours late on our part) to pickup a sweetheart 14-week old beaglier puppy, Jed, Brenda, and their children kindly welcomed us into their home to interview and choose one of the two remaining puppies. Watching them interact so gently with the children, and in such a warm, idyllic family scene, we were tempted to drive home with both. We might be back someday, as our dear beaglier baby is friendly, fun-loving, and teeming with happiness.

I really wish it was possible to give more than 5 stars. I live in New Mexico, so buying and getting a puppy transported from Pennsylvania seemed daunting. I chose to fly there to get the puppy, but Jed referred me to a transportation company that checked out and was reasonably priced. Jed and Brenda answered all my questions, gave referrals (which I am now happy to be one), and even gave me a good deal on boarding the puppy when I couldn’t come to claim it for over a week after I’d made my choice. I not only left with a puppy, but complete history of vaccinations, a vet inspection for the airline, and a courtesy bag of puppy food. Jed kindly scented a stuffed animal I’d brought by rubbing her litter mates on it and it worked wonderfully. Meela’s been to the vet for her next set of vaccinations and the vet said she is a very healthy and well socialized puppy. I truly believe she received the best start a puppy could ask for from Jed and Brenda. And I am so grateful I found them. Many Thanks!

Excellent experience with Jed & Brenda! I ended up purchasing 2 beautiful Beaglier puppies from them. (Glow and Deanna). I live all the way in Florida and they helped coordinate a ground transportation company to get them to me which was very affordable and reputable. The shipping company was very communicative and precise with time of arrival and delivered right to my doorstep, just as they said they would be. The puppies arrived happy and friendly and did not seem to be nervous or stressed at all . Jed called me several times throughout my buying experience to give me updates on taking them for vet checks, giving me full disclosed details and called me after delivery to check up on the pups. Everything was as expected and more. I’m so happy with my pups and highly recommend this breeder. They’re very reasonably priced and gorgeous & healthy puppies.

We had a great experience with Jed and Brenda. They are very friendly and honest people. When it comes to breeders, Jed and Brenda put alot of work into raising their pups. We are very thankful for their hard work with our beagle pup Elvis. Elvis is beagle thru and thru. He is gentle, loving, playful, and courageous. He is a great hunter. We loved dealing with Jed and Brenda so much and loved the pup so much.......WE WENT BACK FOR ANOTHER! After purchasing Percy last year, we decided we wanted another Beaglier pup and decided to drive back to PA another 5 hours from CT to get another one and we came home with Glacier. Jed and Brenda keep detailed records on all their pups; are very knowledable and super friendly; and they have a state of the art kennel and take good care of their puppies. Our vet was very pleased and said both dogs were in excellent condition. It was worth the trip both times. We highly recommend them ....you won't be disappointed!

I can't put into words what a pleasurable blessed experience it was to meet Jed, Brenda and their beautiful children was. I purchased Stephanie a Beagleir puppy that is just so perfect, gentle, cuddly, friendly a perfect new addition to our family. Th new state-of-the-art kennel facility so clean and healthy for the puppies. You will not find a better facility to breed and raise puppies. You can see and feel the love the entire family pits into the puppies. O drove up from central Florida alone and back with Stephanie, she was great in the car and when we arrived home. If you are looking for a German Shorthair Pointer or a Beaglelier there is no better place to find your puppy. I could not have asked for a better experience and you wont either. We got our first beagle mix puppy off of Jed and Brenda and from the first phone call to meeting the puppies to picking the puppy up it was the most pleasant experience. If you had any questions or concerns after picking up the puppies they always answer or returned your phone call.

Picked this girl up on December 23, in horrible wind driven snow and ice. Jed and Brenda were the most welcoming people. Very knowledgeable and passionate about their animals. It was an absolute pleasure having Jed and Brenda help us welcome our sweet, new Lemon Beagle into our home. We loved hearing from Brenda about how her daughter’s always pick their favorite from each litter- the smallest, female puppy, with different markings. Jed shared with us that he has been involved in breeding puppies since he was 14, but now, in addition to that, he is also a volunteer firefighter! Who says you can't have a house dog and hunting dog all in one? Well I know Jed and Brenda at Rocky Ridge Kennel did not. I got my beautiful beagle from these outstanding breeders in May of 2020. I have the best house dog that also runs me rabbits all weekend long. This dog came home loving and very well tempered and I absolutely known it was loved on with those kids that help and care for the dogs as well. I can not say enough about Jed and Brenda burkholder and how well they take care of there dogs. The amount of information about your dog, how they care and what they recommend to give the best advice to care for your dog. That information far out ways what you pay for a puppy. Excellent people you will not be disappointed!

We picked up Remi (Feather) 5 days ago and we are fully in love with her. She is so sweet. Jed and Brenda were great right from the first phone call. We drove 4 hours and it was worth the drive. The puppy is very socialized and they gave us so much information we walked away feeling good. She whined the first 5 minutes and then she was fine the whole way home. Highly recommend Jen and Brenda.

On September 3rd 2022 we purchased Rusty, formerly Owen who is a beaglier puppy. He is a little sweetheart and growing fast. My picture shows Rusty with his big "brother" , Buddy waiting for their mommy"me" to come back through the door.

We live in the city of Buffalo, Jed was concerned we wouldn't have enough land to give the dog what his nature needs. That was a huge plus for us. Our dog is living his best life. He's a natural hunter, healthy, well tempered. They have done an upstanding job breeding great dogs. Definitely a place we would recommend.

We got Jeneva from Jed and Brenda when she was about 10 weeks old. They were super nice and informative. She is now about 7 months old and is our best friend! Highly recommend getting a puppy from them!

We bought Owen about one week and a half ago. He is such a sweet and loving dog and our dog Buddy who is five years old finally has a playmate. Jed and Brenda were fantastic to work with. You can tell by how they treat and socialize their puppies that they love dogs as much as we do.

Jed and Brenda were so very nice from the very first phone call. We went up to see the puppy when she was 5 weeks old and fell in love with our beaglier. Jed and Brenda took the time to fully introduce us to our German Shorthair Pointer puppy yesterday She is just about 4 months old and we can see she is already being socialized. Jed pointed out some hunting and training techniques and Brenda took the time to give Damamris a bath and get her ready to come home with us. The kennel is clean and the dogs are under control. It was a very pleasant experience and I recommend this kennel for anyone who wants a good hunting dog.
