My husband and I got Azrael from John and Anne almost 1.5 years ago (July 2023). She has been such a joy in our lives! All of the puppies we got to meet were healthy, clean and happy! They also did not smell!! John and Anne were so patient and answered all of the questions we had. They also let us bring our other malamute to help pick and be 100% certain. Azrael LOVES people and is so goofy, she is a true malamute and we 100% recommend them as good breeders.

I have gotten 2 Bernamute puppies from them and they are the most docile, loving dogs! John and Anne have a lovely home and the puppies are raised in a very clean environment. They truly care for their animals and it shows! The pups are all so happy and healthy. I will 100% be going back to this breeder and I always will recommend them to others.

John was very responsive and provided any information requested. Nina was healthy and clean when we picked her up and John’s wife and children were so personable. In mid-March 2015, my family made the decision to purchase a Golden Retriever puppy after the loss of our last Golden in November. My family had not purchased a pup in a very long time, and certainly not since buying pups occurs largely via the Internet. Needless to say, we were skeptical about the process.I did much research about the kind of breeder I should be looking for in order to be sure that I was getting not only what I paid for, but also that I was getting a healthy pup raised by people deserving of that money. We found just that breeder and pup in John Riehl of Millersburg, PA. We visited the home where we found 2 litters of beautiful pups living on a farm in wonderful, clean, spacious conditions, raised by a family that didn't just take care of, but cared for, all 19 beauties. John answered all the questions we had about the breeding process and we were able to see both pup parents at our visit. His wife, Anna, took time daily to socialize the pups to ensure that they'd be good and ready to move on with their new families. The Rhiels' are a fine family, raising great dogs carefully and with consideration for the breeds' integrity, which was of utmost importance to us.
