We had been searching for the perfect boxer to help fill the hole our boy Rocky left in the family when he passed last October when we came across Lucy. We immediately fell in love with her pictures and the Zook family was extremely accommodating in timelines. I spoke to Mr Zook around 8:30am, we were in the car driving to meet Lucy by 10:30a, and when we finally saw her in person just after noon we knew she was coming home with us as she was even cuter in person.During this last minute venture, Mrs Zook gave her a bath and let her run around outside with her momma for one last venture to help drain some energy before the car ride home. She had a bath, we were able to meet her momma and the remaining littermates that were still searching for their forever home (Lily and Layla), met their neighbor one stall over in the barn (a beautiful, gentle horse), and were able to ask as many questions as we wished. Overall a fantastic experience, I highly recommend the Zook family.
