We purchased a golden doodle puppy from the Riehls in June 2021. The family was wonderful as we took our time selecting “Larry.” The puppy was socialized and friendly. It was obvious that the puppies were well card for while with the Riehls. We took him to our vet and found him to be in excellent health. A great experience throughout.

I called this breeder inquiring about a Goldendoodle puppy they had for sale. They are from PA and we were in MN so I asked about seeing additional pictures or facetiming to get an additional sense of how our puppy will look, behave, and act once home. They are an Amish breeder so they do not have any access to internet and state that Greenfield Puppies company comes out to their property to take the pictures and video to upload to their website. Seems odd.... but I'll take that info with a grain of salt. I then asked about potty training and crate training as the puppy we were looking at was already 11 weeks old. She stated they put them with all the other puppies from the litter and lay down cedar chips for the dogs to potty in stating that, "sometimes they go elsewhere though." When asked about crate training she said there is none of that. This breeder seems unrepeatable and very suspicious if not willing to supply additional pictures of current living situation, ect. I would be very cautious buying from this breeder, as they did not seem to know how the transition process worked for new owners taking their puppy home. Proceed with caution.I want to purchase this dog because I feel that I can give him a better life than what he may currently be living, but I also do not want to spend 1,200 dollars on him and give the breeder the idea that I support how they breed and raise their dogs. Hope this helps others who are looking into buying from here.
- Jade Larsen,
Bagel (originally named Sparkle) is almost 9 months old! He is just over 10lbs and it the cutest and most loving bundle of joy. He is full of energy! Vets have been repeatedly telling us that he is very healthy! We highly recommend the Riehl’s. Barb was easily available via telephone and she answered all my questions.
