We purchased our now 9 month old Nikko from Sam Esh in June 2023. Sam was very pleasant and let us play with the litter of pups that had just turned 8 weeks old the day we picked him up. The puppies were all clean and very active. They all appeared to be happy and healthy. It was very hard to choose one of them because they were all so cute. We settled for one of the males which is what we wanted. Nikko is our 4th golden retriever and our first English cream. He came with all the AKC papers needed to register him, as well as the vet records and proof of first shots and dewormer. Our vet confirmed that Nikko was in great health and physical condition. He wasn't crazy about the 4 hour drive to his new home but he settled in quickly and is now part of the family. Nikko is everything we'd hoped he'd be. Very smart and full of energy. Our experience with Sam was very nice. We wouldn't hesitate to acquire our 5th golden from him if that should ever happen.. And we're pretty sure Sam's video of English cream Goldens on YouTube is of the litter Nikko came from. How cool is that!
