Our Golden Retriever, Cassidy (Martha), has been a wonderful addition to our family. We picked our Golden Retriever up a few days before Christmas and had a great experience working with Steve. He was responsive, kind and helpful.

This review is a long time coming. We bought Kona (formerly Mary) in February 2023. Steve was kind, easy to work with and responded quickly to my calls. He even put Kona on hold for us until we could see her in person. Obviously, she came home with us that day…who can resist a puppy, especially when your kids come with you?!?!? Kona has been such a great addition to our family. She is cuddly, sweet and fun. I would definitely recommend Steve whenever you are looking for a puppy!

Cooper ( aka prancer) is such a wonderful dog. Very smart and just a fantastic puppy all together. Whenever we are ready to add to our pack again Steve and his wife will be the first page I visit. Cooper is thriving with his brothers and will continue to grow into a great dog.

Steve was a pleasure to deal with throughout the adoption process. From the initial phone call, through puppy pick-up, and even since bringing our pup home, he has been available to answer questions and more than willing to help out in any way. We would recommend Steve to anyone looking for a puppy from a trusted and experienced breeder. Although he doesn’t have a cell phone for religious reasons, it didn’t make any difference with regard to the level of communication he provided throughout the process. We intend on keeping in touch with Steve over the coming years and sending photos to Steve and his family of our puppy as she grows up. We adopted Randall (formerly Alexander) from Steve in June. He's brought us so much joy and he fit right in with our other senior dog and our cat. He was great in the car from the minute I took him home, socializes well with other pups, and is so friendly to everyone and everything he meets. At 5 months old, he's happy, healthy, and we couldn't be happier to have him in our lives. I was really hesitant at first to purchase a dog from the internet, let alone Greenfield Puppies as I've read some unsavory stories. I had faith and figured I'd only lose time and gas if I went to see Steve's litter and it didn't work out. Steve is a great breeder, kind, and answered all my questions before I even made the 4 hour drive. We were feeling quite discouraged by the price tag from local breeders as well as the 2 year wait list and no flexibility in forming a bond by choosing our furry friend. If you are here reading this review like I did 3 months ago wondering if this is too good to be true, it isn't. You have nothing to fear in choosing this breeder.

I got my golden retriever puppy, Pretzel (formerly Joey), a little over a month ago and it was the best decision ever. Steve clearly socializes his puppies well - Pretzel was immediately obsessed with people and little kids. No signs of any health issues so far. Steve was very easy to get in touch with - when you leave a message you will get a call back either same day or early the next day. I would absolutely get my next puppy from Steve. It looks like a few of Pretzels littermates (Jolene, Jelisa, Jennifer) are still available right now - I met all of them and they are incredibly sweet so I encourage you to get one of them if you see this post soon enough!

I could not be Happier with the two dogs I got from Steve. The are Just Perfect and a Great Addition to our Family. Both are in Training to be Therapy Dogs and visit Nursing Homes and Hospitals . Their Disposition is awesome 😎

I purchased Beau ( Lucas ) 6 months ago and could not have been happier. He is a Therapy Dog for the Elderly and is actually learning sign language as well and knows several commands. Our Mini Golden Doodle just turned 1. Great gentle disposition. No health issues whatsoever. Steve was pleasant to deal with and his facility was clean. I would recommend this breeder!

Highly recommend Steve Zook as we had a great experience and outcome. He is a certified breeder and really cares about the puppies and getting them to loving families. Steve is transparent, a good communicator, and when the puppy we wanted had another interested family, he called us before to give us the first option, but we could not make in time. He even spoke with our kids to see what others might be good for them. When we made it out, he was great and we found a wonderful puppy from the litter that best suited our needs. This was a great experience and our mini-goldendoodle came healthy, well adjusted, and slept in her crate from night 1!!!

Steve is an amazing breeder of mini-goldendoodles. We visited his farm and were able to meet the litter and then select our pup. We even met her Mom too. We now have her home with us and she has the nicest disposition. She is beautiful too. Just a lovely family dog - what we wanted! I would absolutely buy another dog from Steve Zook!

We picked up our Nykka in April 2020. Birthdate 2/2/20. She has the best temperament and personality. She has been truly amazing. So smart and gentle. Steve does an awesome job breeding! We are on the waiting list to bring home a brother or sister from the next litter!

Axle is almost 1 year!! He is the funniest, most loving dog out there. Perfect Health and he seems to be growing by the minute. Definitely a good boy!

From the moment we initiated contact with Steven he was thorough and completely upfront about everything and anything we needed to know about Nathan. He made us feel very comfortable about how he treated the puppies and really cared about their well-being. Prior to us picking Nate up, Steven properly vetted us to ensure we were a proper fit for Nathan and vice versa. My family and I recently purchased 2 beautiful Siberian Huskies from Steve. He went the extra mile to ensure everything went smoothly and made sure we felt confident and comfortable with our decision. Bringing 2 new puppies into a household can be scary, but Steve was patient and understanding with us every step of the way. The puppies are healthy, full pedigree documentation was provided along with health and vaccination records. The puppies were kept in a clean, dry, warm space. Both parents were on sight for us to meet as well. In all honesty, we could not have asked for a better breeder or puppy purchasing experience. I would truly recommend Mr. Zook and his beautiful puppies to anyone looking to add a fury new member to their family.

We bought our English Cream Golden Retriever from Steve in May of 2019. Steve was absolutely great to work with. He had Daisy's mother on site and we were able to spend time with her to see her temperament and overall demeanor. Steve never made us feel bad about this, he wanted us to be comfortable. This is our second golden in our family and as you can see in the picture, Daisy loves our other dog Lilly. Daisy has a fantastic disposition and is very gentle. I would definitely recommend buying a dog from Steve as he is honest and fair to his customers.

We purchased 2 husky puppies from the same litter from Steven. It was one of the best decisions of our lives. I love to trail run and these girls are amazing running partners . They have become very important members of our family and we all love them so much! We plan on adding to our little husky pack and we will most definitely go back to Steven when we are ready to do so.

We purchased Takaani and Everest from Steven 9 months ago and couldn't be happier! The purchasing process was smooth, the kennels are pristine (Steven's Farm is beautiful) and the puppies were adorable. We drove out with the intent on just getting one but when we saw how perfect they were my daughters convinced me to get two. We took a look at Mom, selected our two puppies and waited until they were ready for pickup. All through the process Steven kept in contact with us. We run them several miles a day and they are happy. They do get into mischief but that is to be expected from the breed. They love car rides and eating dinner with the family. We plan on eventually getting another one or two when the timing is right. I would purchase from Steven again for sure!
