We have owned 2 Springer Spaniels. They were wonderful dogs. Great family pets and fairly easy to train. Usual puppy issues but quick to overcome bad behavior. They were intellegent, loved other dogs and kids, and were a joy to own. They did shed, but so do most other breeds. Ours were black and white. Gorgeous.

My 4th Springer, Benjamin Buford 'Blue' passed away 10/5/21 at the age of 16 years and 9 months. He was a great companion who went to work with me, and was with me 24/7. I am looking for another Springer to continue my adventures in life with. I am about to turn 65, so a new puppy will probably be my last dog. I live in NE Florida. I am looking for a puppy who is mostly liver with some white, a distinctive blaze, and an UN-docked tail, which is the law in Europe, but has not made it to the US, yet. He must be a big boy, as two of my Springers were around at the prime of their lives.

We received our female SS as a gift for our son to grow up with. We got her six days before he was born. I have never had a more caring, lovable, patient, and smart dog in my life. Raising them together is the best way to go, IMH. She is loyal and protective of her family and she has the greatest temperament I’ve ever seen.

We owned and LOVED 4 springer spaniels. Our last 2 were brother and sister.. they were all the most loving and smart companions. They got along with our cats. They never anyone they didn’t love. We could not have asked for better dogs. So grateful they came into our life ❤️

I've always owned English springer spaniels since I was a kid. They are very playful and love to be outdoors and around people. They do shed a bit and need proper ear cleaning every month which I usually did with mine. They are medium sized dogs and the ones I've owned got up to 40-55 pounds as an adult, but you need to be careful with their diet. I've owned 2 springers and for mine they lived 10-13 years. These are great family dogs and if you have kids, this breed can keep up with their energy.

Sweet, gentle, quiet dogs. Mine was incredibly faithful to me. Rescued her at age of 7 years, she had been bred for 7 years by a private owner. She passed away at 14 with twisted intestines and bloated stomach which usually only bigger dogs get but she was prone to it because she developed a broadened chest from all her litters. We just lost her on January 30, 2017. Amazing companion.

This breed is a people loving breed! Affectionate and smart. They need daily run time. Not a dog for the city or someone with no/little yard. There are two types; field and show. I have field..they love to flush birds. Best breed Ive EVER owned. Trains easily.
