Our Roxie is a gorgeous, smart, sweet very German -Shepardy Sheprador . Cannot speak too highly of her as in can't praise her too much . She is very protective of us, I trained K-9s for cops (I was one) and personal protection. This is the first mixed breed I have ever worked with and I'm dreadfully impressed. Great family pup.

I had one for 14 years. Black female with shepherd ears and hair. Trained by me to blood trail deer and hogs. She would sit, stay and come. Load or jump into any vehicle I pointed to. Very intelligent dog would bark occasionally on the trail but bark every breath upon finding game. Would naturally attack wounded prey. Absolutely hated hogs. Great around kids, a laid back type of dog. Find and kill snakes. Didn’t look for trouble but would let others know who was the boss. Broke her leg at 8 months jumping out of the window of a moving truck after a cat. Surgery with a rod for a year never missed a beat. Out grew the rod which made one leg shorter than other. Another surgery to remove rod at 3 years. Recovered and never knew she had a problem. Big bow hunter with others in several thousand acres with plenty of deer. Bella trailed and found over 100 deer n her very active hunting career. A legend in the woods. So many stories of deer it would take a case of beer drinking to tell them all. Always heard most dog owners go through a life of dogs but never own a sure gem. Bella was not just a gem she was a diamond.

Our puppy is almost a year old, and he is amazing. We've had him since he was just a little pup, and he's grown so much. He is active, loves walks, is great with children, very social eith other dogs, and he is just overall a very kind and protective dog. He's had his moments, but his goods weigh out them by a long run.If your thinking about getting one, please do. They're amazing.

I now own a Sheprador, he was one of 12 puppies, and I was afraid there would be one or two that would not make it, so I took this one at 5 weeks old and hand fed it crushed puppy chow with a powdered dog milk mixture, and he is thriving very well .. This my first Sheprador and I am anxious to see how he turns out !

While I do love all dog breeds, I will have to say that my Sheperd/Lab is the best I've ever had. Energetic and easy to train, she is loyal and protective of myself, my family, and her territory, and is also gentle with children. Though better in my opinion for guarding or companionship than herding or hunting, I would reccomend this breed to anyone!

My Daisy is 2 years old. I adopted her at 8 weeks old from my county's animal control kennel. The owner (80 year old man) surrendered a litter of 11 pups and I was the first to pick which one I wanted. All were solid black except Daisy. She has the color and markings of a black and tan German Shepherd. Her ears are floppy. She is extremely smart. Also very nimble, fast, and great at maneuvering whenever she's being chased by my husband's dog in the yard. Her body shape is like a chunky lab and she weighs 80 lbs. She's lazy most of the time. I work from home and love being with her. I can't imagine being without her.

I grew up always having 1 or 2 dogs. The first puppy I got on my own was a Black Lab/German Shepherd mix. She was easily trainable & I also trained her to understand many hand signals- no speaking necessary. She was a loving, obedient, sweet girl that got along well with all animals & children. She was my best friend for 14 yrs. It's been a few yrs & now I'm looking for another Lab/Shep mix. BEST dogs ( all around).

Our Shepradore is the best thing that ever happened to us! He's got the best of both breeds. He's perfectly protective and a gentle giant. He doesn't love other adult males but will adjust if given time to "date". He's a retriever at heart which is demonstrated through his expert frisbee skills! He's smart, loyal and obedient. Easy to train, amazing with kids and loves the cat!

We had german shepherd, lab,& collie mix for 13yrs. we had to put him down on feb 3. and left big heart prints on our lives . he wasn't just a dog he was a family member. he was always with us walking playing in the yard truck rides and always by my side when working in the yard. but when it was hot he wanted to be in the air. like my husband would say I got the centeral air for the dog. They are very good family pets and protective of their owners.

I was at a farm auction there was a brown puppy in a wire cage I ask about the puppy they said she was a female they where giving it to any who wanted it at the end of the auction I took her home took her to the vet and had her spayed was the best dog I ever had german shepard /lab mix playful good watch dog helped work with cattle had her for 11 yrs

I have a 2 year old sheprador and she is the sweetest, most obedient little one. She's only about 40lbs. She's got an amazing temperament. She's extremely intelligent so be prepared to follow through with all training methods you use.She's very prey-driven and energetic. So they must be exercised in various ways and places to keep them out of mischief. My little one loves going on hikes off-leash and always has me within eyesight. They're extremely loyal, protective yet playful.Keep this breed in mind if you like to be active with your dog and if you want your dog as a member of your family and not just a backyard dog.

You should never mix two breeds. These "sheprador's" cannot be genetically tested for diseases that their individual breeds have and both breeds have worked hard to get those tests.

The best dog I ever had- her Mom was a Shepherd, and Dad was a black Lab. She was gentle, playful, smart as any shepherd I'd ever had. She was a great listener, comforter when my children were sick, and loved to play! Very loyal, and as she was well socialized, she loved everyone. We travelled by boat, by Camper, and to Hotels and she made friends everywhere- once they got over her 100# big black self... She had some knee problems when she was young, but never had hip issues. She lived almost 15 years, and I still miss her!

These dogs are great! I have had many different types of dogs,but these might be my favorite,their beautiful. I recently adopted one from the shelter.she was 12 weeks old with her litter of girls. Three of them had a cow pattern with brown and white two were black and white without a cow pattern. I got a black and white one. I named her shadow and she is a great dog. Today she is almost 20 weeks old so almost 5 months old. She loves playing with our golden retriever Ein who is a little over a year old. A couple months ago a friend found the golden retriever Ein in front of a hospital and no one claimed him so they gave him to us. Shadow the German shepardor was a stray with her litter than she was put in the shelter 5 days after she was put in the shelter I adopted her. Soon after the rest of her litter was adopted too.
