10 years ago in January my purebred Golden passed away...10 days later a coworker had a pup that the family didn't have time for...turned out to be a Goberian. Zoey had to be the worst puppy ever...although there's been alot of holes dug in the yard and the couch destroyed and has never listened very well she is one of the sweetest dogs!!

I love my Goberian and he's the best dog I've ever owned. Good for staying at home or playing fetch all day. His name is Disco and he has a partial blue eye. Everyone who meets him loves him.

I stumbled across this breed over a decade ago and I think it’s the only breed I’d want again. I wanted a husky but was afraid of it running off where I live so I learned of Goberians while searching husky mixes. I owned a Goberian for 12 years who tragically passed recently but she was a beloved member of the family. She had some of the silly husky qualities like the ‘talking’ and some of the great retriever qualities like getting along well with the cats and other small dogs. (She adored the mini wiener dog that we have). She had lots of quirks, was smart and loved the family. Be ready for lots of walks and brushings with this breed. Id absolutely recommend this breed to people.

I lost my gobarian and 8 years and 4 months old to a tumor I try to save him with surgery after surgery I couldn't help him anymore I brought him home two times from the hospital and he died in his house on his bed it devastated my whole family

Most people will say “he/she is the best dog ever” but really don’t understand that there’s actually the best dog out there. My dog, Luna, is that one dog that is truly the best animal one person could have in their lifetime. Great breed with a lot of life. I couldn’t be anymore happy than I am now with this dog. Great choice of breed and I’ll make sure to get another one when the time comes.

In the short time I had my puppy, it was one of the best things ever. Goberians are very sweet and while they are stubborn as puppies they overall pick up things quickly and are very friendly with everyone. I wish more than anything to have my little guy with me again and would do anything to have him back.

I have not owned a Goberian, but the breed seems it would be loyal and a great companion for life, as it has the loyal mix of Siberian Husky and Golden Retriever. I look forward to adopting a Goberian in the future.

I have two goberians. When puppies up until around 1 year old they are terrible chewers, they chew dog beds, pillows anything. As at 6 months mine had eaten a leather sofa chair, table legs, wallpaper off walls etc. They ate things that made them ill and had to have vet treatment. One ate a keyring and it got lodged in his mouth and had stitches when removed. Vets for swollowing pillow fibre which can twist through their intestines and is dangerous for dogs. They have to be managed or impacted intestines is life threatening.I managed this by keeping them in a large puppy pen in the dining room if i couldnt be with them in the house such as hoovering. Up to 2 years old. My dogs were well exercised and had lots of KONG and other toys. I think its just in them like the retriever side.After saying that, they are the most loving dogs and are a complete mix in personality. They love company and are very playful. Loyal and just are your very best friend. They do not bark alot, only when someone knocks at the door etc. They are usually food obsessed and this makes them great and easy to train. They are intelligent and crave human interaction, playing and training. love to just hang around the family. They would be very destructive and unhappy if left in a crate all day or outside in a yard alone. They really are family/people dogs !They are also healthy in themselves due to being a hybrid.Id never have another breed now. :o}

Just got my first Goberian. Even at a young age this is a very intelligent dog. But can also still have a lot of that husky stubbornes. But all in all is a great addition to any family.

We have a 4 month old Goberian puppy....she is the best puppy we have ever owned ! She was easy to "housebreak" and is a wonderful, cuddly, happy, friendly pup ! We also have a 5 year old Lab/Golden and they get along great ! Very good with kids and other dogs !!! Love her so much !!!
