I don't want to ruin a sale but you have a mix here that is not for everyone. It is a buyer beware! Mountain Feists are an interesting blend of personality traits: very loving and friendly to their families, but with a very strong prey drive. They generally do decently well with children; their sturdy physique and small-to-medium size makes them not too fragile. Also, they are not as aggressive as other terriers, so that is of less concern, too. Still, it's important to supervise play between children and animals.Always teach children how to approach and touch dogs, and always supervise any interactions between dogs and young children to prevent any biting or ear or tail pulling on the part of either party.Teach your child to never approach any dog while they're sleeping or eating or try to take the dog's food away. No dog, no matter how good-natured, should ever be left unsupervised with a child.Because their prey drive is so strong, Mountain Feists are not recommended to add to a household with other animals, even cats, but especially small animals, like guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, gerbils, etc. Mountain Feists can get along well with other dogs of equal or larger size, and, in fact, they do enjoy socializing.

My golden mix is a beago (golden retriever beagle mix). He is the smartest, most outgoing and friendly dog I've ever had or seen. Just about 45 pounds, full-grown, he is energetic, craves attention, and is easily attainable. Great with kids, adults, dogs, cats. Not so much squirrels and rabbits. Loves catch, swimming, long walks. Can be mischievous if bored. Not for couch potatoes or people who are gone all day, or for people who have white carpets. But best dog I've ever known. Sense of smell and intelligence great. Need to put in time, energy, love, and will be rewarded.
