I had a female Keeshond her name was Shasha. She was a very special dog, to our whole family. She was just a family pet, she wasn’t registered. We had her only 3 years, as she had a growth on her spine and it ruptured and poisoned her system. I always wanted to get another little girl, but I had to wait till I got my own house with room for her. Keeshonds are hard to find. I live in Montana.

I owned a Keeshond. Very good family dog. Never saw any aggression and could take her anywhere. Extremely well behaved and easy to train. Must groom regularly and not much of a water dog.

I have fallen head over heels for my Keeshond. The first "pure-bred" I have ever owned I find them remarkable.I love taking my Keeshond (Duke) to the dog park to watch him run. They are deceptively fast and run with this really cool gait.They also leap and jump, surprising well and have a distinguished air about them.They are willful and loud barkers but they are so loving. Every day I come home from work I am so looking forward to seeing my Kee's.I think this breed is under-appreciated and is a real find for a first time owner of this type of dog. Do yourself a favor and get one, you will be happy you did.

I fell in love with my first keeshond that i got as a result of an shelter adoption of a special need blind dog. The breed is very loyal to its owner and affectionate to people. I lost my dog recently as a result of seizures and now i am looking to fill that lost and companionship again.

These are the best tempered lovable devoted pets - Our first Kees was 11 when he passed, we fell so in love with this breed we got our second Kees who just recently passed after 131/2 years, We have so many wonderful memories of the joy and happiness our kees have given us. Anyone who has little children, this is the breed for you!

I HAVE HAD TWO KEESHONDS. RAISED THEM FROM PUPS. THEY ARE THE BEST DOGS WE EVER HAD. WE ALSO HAD A MIX PART KEES AND PART CHOW. SHE WAS THE BEST DOG EVER. SHE LIVED A NICE RIPE OLD AGE OF 17 AND A HALF. I WOULD LIKE TO OBTAIN A FEMALE PUP 2 MONTHS OLD IF POSSIBLE.

This is a wonderful breed and is perfect for families with children. Calm, patient with a sweet disposition make these a wonderful breed for families even with small children. Since we lost our Keeshond, the house has never been the same. Can't wait to get another one.

We have had our Turbo for 8 years and cannot image our life without him. He is kind gentle loving active and I could go on and on... We rescued him from SPCA You will love this breed. Turbo is about 38 lbs a bit smaller than usual. We feel we were blessed when he joined our family
