Best, most loving and somewhat easy to care for dog on the planet. Had 2 Maltese-Shihtzus (brother and sister) and they were both amazing, personality-filled pups. 15 years before the end and if I can stop crying long enough to look for a pet again, I’m considering getting another pair. They’re the best in pairs, btw. If you’re looking for a small, really loving dog, look no further. They’re super expensive now, but I gotta say it’s gonna be worth it.

I wish I could give 10 stars. This breed is hands down thee BEST! Our Molly girl was the sweetest, intelligent and also very dominant girl ever. She was my absolute baby. I’m so very lost, as my poor girl who was 10 passed due to congestive heart failure recently. I lost my baby. I haven’t come to terms with it as I tried everything to save her and give her a couple more months to spend with us. She was wonderful to everyone, even my 3 year old son. When the time is right, we will most definitely be getting another Mal-shi.

My husband and I had a Malshi pup from a person in Pa. I don’t recall the name of the people but he was the best most well behaved, adorable,loveable,beautiful,guy ever. Sadly two weeks ago he passed away from cancer. Our hearts are broken. We miss him so much. When I am ready for another pup I would love another Malshi. So I will keep in touch with You and hopefully I’ll get another great pup.

What an outstanding, intelligent, friendly, lovable dog. My dog, Buddy is just that "everybody's Buddy". He seems to know when someone is hurting and helps them, He goes to the nursing homes and even to church. He is the greeter at my building. Everyone seems to know this creature because of his calm, loving personality. Great therapy dog. Even people who were scared of dogs are not scared of him. He will be 10 in December but still acts like a little puppy but knows to be more sedate with senior citizens. Love my little guy weighing 15lbs

Very happy but like most cats they only want your loving when they ask for it and they are hard to control when you have them outside and you want them to do something that they choose not to do. Having said that I love this breed like no other in the world. I’m looking for another now to be a sister to my little girl Kiki.

I have had four Mal-Shis in my life so far and they are the best dog breed ever! They have a great temperament and are very lovable. They are also adorable and love sleeping with their owners. I have allergies so the Mal-Shi is the perfect dog that doesn’t shed. They are even better in pairs!

We have had our Malshi Yoshi for 3 1/2 years and it has been wonderful! The sweetest temperament, playfulness, cuddles, and companionship are to be found in this crossbreed. We had Maltese and Shitzhus before and love them both, but Yoshi is one of a kind! Great with all ages and other dogs, he does tend to be super sensitive to his people...a pack animal for sure. Easy potty training and fairly low maintenance, make sure you have a budget for dog grooming, though!

Probably the best dog I have ever had in my life. I grew up with a mixed variety of dogs (small/medium/large) so it was just a matter of time before I got one for our family. It was just dumb luck that we go Maltese/Shih Tzu. She just happened to be available at the time my wife and I decided to get one for our daughters. Easiest dog I have ever trained and best companion. Our girls were older (elementary and above) so they handled the puppy perfectly. I would not recommend for kids any younger though if getting as a puppy(to protect dog). She was great with younger age children as an adult dog.

Love my Mal Shi!!! She is slightly over a year old and she was extremely easy to train and incredibly smart. I had zero issues potty training her and she NEVER barks. The only time you hear a noise out of her that resembles a bark is when she is playing with another dog. She never barks when guest come to the door and you can touch her without her peeing (a common issue with some small breeds). I have had several dogs and she is by far the best dog we have ever had! We are inseparable!
