Had an Australian shepherd before. Loved my dog with all my heart. Lots OF energy. Very loving and loyal. Slept with me every night. Starting hearding my cats as soon as I got her home. She loved my swimming pool. Best dog in the world. Don't think she was a "miniature Australian shepherd " but she was seemed smaller and than most.

I have a female mini Aussie. She is now a year old (got her at 5 months). She is an absolute angel. We got so lucky with her. Her puppy stage is a breeze. Getting her from greenfield puppies was so quick and easy. I will definitely be getting another mini Aussie from greenfield puppies in the future. She is very energetic and so loyal to us! Separation anxiety in aussies are very very real. For about a month we did have a bit of a hard time leaving her home alone but she did begin to get over that. Highly recommend this breed. I’m obsessed with my mini Aussie!

I had a red merle mini Australian Shepherd. She passed away just three and a half weeks ago. I got her when I retired. I absolutely loved that dog. She was a joy to be with. I loved her awesome spirit and energy. She was good for long walks, frisbee and ball fetching and pouncing on bushes to flush out hidden wildlife. She was a very brave, smart, faithful and loving dog. I miss her and think about her everyday. If you like or want a smart and active dog with a happy spirit, Aussies are awesome. I wouldn’t hesitate to get another one or two if my wife would go for it.

Make a wonderful FULL TIME companion. They need lots of exercise and/or jobs to do. They need to be mentally stimulated or they get bored and you do not want that!! They are wonderful watch dogs. Not one person, including my husband, can NOT get anywhere near me without me knowing it! I grew up with German Shepherds but I must say that my breed of choice is definitely a mini Aussie

Digger, a red-tri mini Aussie, is now 2 1/2 and is the sweetest boy. He was pretty active as a puppy, but has become much more relaxed. Great with children. Very friendly to most people and other dogs. He is pretty attached to us, but we’re home with him all day so he’s pretty used to having us around. Very affectionate too! Greenfields and the breeder were both easy to work with!

I got my Mini Aussie last year while I am in college. I live three and a half hours away from home and he travels with my to and from college. He is an amazing dog. He loves all the people he meets, and is great with my families other dogs. 10/10 would recommend this dog for anybody who needs emotional support or a positive outlook on life. Great dog.

Love , love my mini Aussie,. But be prepared to play ALOT with this dog. My little guy wakes me up at 4:30 in the morning by dropping a ball on my head and letting me know its time to play. Prepare to be really active and it would nice to have a pal for your puppy to help burn some of his/her energy.

I love my mini aussie more than anything. My boyfriend and I have had him for about a month now and he already knows how to sit, lay down, paw & other paw, dance, roll over and play dead! He loves to learn and is super smart. I\'d say he was about 80% house trained by only 10 weeks old. Great dogs! I reccomend them to anybody who has time to give their dog as much attention as possible because they absolutely love their owners and all they want is to be with you 24/7

Australian Shepherd-Miniature Breed Review by Kaitlynn and Troy

We have 2 miniature Australian Shepherds. A black tri named Maya and a blue merle named Sydney. This breed is so fun and dull of personality. They are so smart and we talk to them like they are people because they seem too smart to talk to them like dogs. Anyone who gets this breed will NOT be disappointed but pleasantly surprised!

Greenfield Puppies

Despite their name, the Australian Shepherd is a breed of dog believed to have been developed in the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain. They were used for herding livestock. They have many other talents including retrieving, working as guard dogs, police work, search and rescue, and narcotics detection. The Australian Shepherd comes in three sizes, Standard, Toy, and Miniature. The Standard Australian Shepherd is over 18” tall. The smaller sizes were bred beginning in 1968. The Standard Australian Shepherd was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1991. This affectionate dog is cheerful and puppy like into adulthood. Eager to please, intelligent, and easy to train, these pups needs lots of activity to prevent them from becoming bored. If left alone for too long, they can become destructive while trying to occupy themselves. With proper training, they are good with children and make a great family pet. Grooming is easy with weekly brushings.
