Yoshi is our roly poly little bear cub! He is so fluffy, so playful, and just an all around adorable guy in both looks and personality! He’s very smart and very attentive- often I find him sitting and watching like he’s just taking it all in before deciding on his next move! He loves to follow us around, whether that means chasing our 5 year old around the backyard or standing between our shoes on tiptoe to see what we’re making for dinner! He can be a little bashful at first, but within a few minutes he’ll be worming his way onto your lap looking for kisses and belly rubs!

Yoshi’s parents are 8lbs and 17lbs, and most of their puppies have gone on to be around 12-16lbs full grown. Yoshi is built more stocky like an Elkhound, so I’m guessing he will be in the 15-20lb range. My husband and I started this breed several years ago with the hope of having all the things we love about our Norwegian Elkhound in a smaller, more travel friendly size. We got all that we hoped for and more! They are playful, attentive, very intelligent, and very loyal! Because they’re just as happy outdoors as indoors, they’re ideal both for a family who wants an indoor snuggle buddy and/or a family that has a more active lifestyle and wants to be able to take their puppy with them on adventures!

They have been raised around children and other dogs, are already partially potty trained, and are up to date on all of their vaccinations and dewormings.
