Loving, loyal, smart,beautiful, playful, obedient, everything you could possibly desire in your pet. I have owned now 6. I am 83 years old. I purchased my first mini Schneider from a breeder in Bud lake, N J in 1976. She lived to be 15. I so mourned over her that I waited 3 years before I yearned to have another one. Then I adopted 2 more from a local breeder. They died due to poor breeding. Then I heard of a breeder through my brother in Georgia and I traveled there twice to pick up two more puppies, they died, first one when she was just 8, due to surgery due to stones in her bladder, and her sister at 11 due to diabetes. Now I have Rosalie she has the best personality. She is very playful, loving, smart, the best puppy I have ever owned. Yes mini Schnauzers if not well bred are prone to bladder stones and diabetes. Make sure that your breeder is registered at a group like AKC or one of the many other organizations.

Yes I owned a snaulzer for 11 years. I lost him because he had kidney disease and cancer, he had both at same time. I miss him so much. I, had to have him put asleep. It was hard losing him. He was my boy.

I have loved Miniature Schnauzers for the better part of my live, owning three who were my loving campaigns. Having lost my Black and Silver this past January leaving my 10 year old Black little girl alone without her best friend. We need another playmate for our Sunny. Absolutely loyal, absolutely loving. Happy, happy, happy little dogs. Wonderful family pets. Protective without being vicious or dangerous. Great little watch dogs, but not rude. Live long under normal conditions. We lost our Smokey to a vehicle strike, when he got loose from a neighbor taking care of him while we were on vacation. I\'ve never cried so many tears in all my life. I cannot say enough positive about this breed. They are absolutely wonderful little dogs.
