Amos was great to work with. He made everything easy for us since we were traveling 900 miles to get her. He offered to ship or ground transport although we couldn't wait and left shortly after talking with him. We couldn't be happier with our new baby and Amos even contacted us on the trip home to check on her. The Kings were great and easy to work with. Their son was so great as well.

I have read some horrible reviews and some equally good about this group. Seems to depend on who you do business with . Mike Lapp's place was beautiful and clean, dogs seemed well cared for, and we purchased our 17th newfoundland puppy from him. He is a beautiful 6mo old 80lb energetic clown and we love him dearly. I am constantly watching the website because our other 2 are senior newfs and we'd like a female landseer(black and white) like Jake.Just an FYI to whoever she/he wrote complaining about the $200 vet bill paid when the puppy was brought home. I paid the same or more...quests what..that's the cost of adding another family member.flea and tic treatments, shots, rabies shots, licences etc. Perhaps they shouldn't have a dog at all.Once again, thanks Mike!

The best dog I ever owned. She loved everyone in our family so much. She would sit on the couch with us and lean in on us to cuddle up. They have beautiful fur that needs brushing often, as they are real shedders. If you love your Newfie like we did, shedding doesn’t matter. They love taking walks and they love just laying around. They love attention, but aren’t a needy dog.

Have owned a Newfoundland before. He lived 9 years. Very easy to train. A house dog never tied up but most of the time on a leash. Am looking for a puppy this summer.

I have had 2. They are amazing dogs for families. They are laid back, smart and devoted. The only draw back is the grooming. Their hair requires a lot of time. If you can find a groomer who will take a Newfie, I recommend that.

We have had 2 newfies, and they had totally different personalities. The male had all the newfie instincts for protection and water rescue. Great dog. The female was very docile and loved the children. Would never leave our yard or us. Both great family dogs.

Newts are as big as they are loving. Great swimmers they are born to be around children and remain puppies all thier lives. My Newfound was named Goblin. Born on Halloween he fell asleep while eating. His bowl was his make shift pillow. Peter Pan’s dog that belonged to the Darling children was a Newfound named Nanny and the story couldn’t have picked a better breed for the role. I can many things to recommend this breed and nothing bad to say about them.

This is the most perfect creation known to mankind. They are sweet, attentive, loving, large, cuddly, and there is no other breed that can bring any further happiness. They are great with kids and the elderly. They are very obedient. I cannot recommend them enough.

Greenfield Puppies

The Newfoundland is water dog, frequently used for retrieval of items and even people. In fact, Napoleon had once fallen overboard, but was saved by a trusty Newfoundland. They are physically made for tasks like that with their webbed paws, huge lung capacity, and oily double coat that protects them from icy waters. With all of that fur, they should not be exposed to too much hot weather to avoid being overheated. They have droopy lips and jowls that allow them to breathe even when carrying items in their mouth. Also known as the "Newfie", this pup originated in Newfoundland. Their typical coat colors are black, brown, gray, and white with black, also called Landseer. The Newfoundland was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1886.
