They are very good dogs. The grooming level is based on whether you get a short-haired or long-haired pomchi. I have a black short-haired named Onix and a black long-haired named Oso. They are very easy to train, small and loveable I would not trade them for any other breed in the world.

My pomchi is a wonderful dog. Loving but not needy. Obedient but fairly independent. Very smart and attentive. Good with other dogs. Little bit food-focused and not a lover of exercise. Likes adventures, such as car rides, visiting friends, and going to stores. People adore her when they spot her in the shopping cart! Tends to get overly protective of her owner with some growling, but it’s all for show as she wouldn’t hurt a fly. Lol

My aunt has one and has had him since he was 6 weeks old. I have known pepper since she has had him. I help her to walk him and have spent lots of time with him. He is so smart and has his own little personality. He is now 11 years old and still looks and acts like a puppy. Pepper is pure black and so adorable. He loves his aunt Vicki so much, and I love him too. He gets so excited and knows I'm there to walk him or just visit with him. Every time he sees me he wants my full attention and he sure gets it. I get lots of kisses from him!

I rescued a PomChi from Craig's List. He is 3 years old. I've had him for a week. He has developed dental problems already and is scheduled for a cleaning and some extractions. He will also be neutered in a couple of weeks. He has just now had his shots. He is being house trained, is learning fast, and has a wonderful affectionate disposition. He is loving his CockaPoo housemate. They get along well.

tough little boy, runs fast,fetches....herds our goats, leaves the chickens alone. playful, affectionate. Not needy. good lap dog. Loves the outdoors, playing with toys.I feed twice daily. previous owner did not housetrain, we are still working on that. He is 13 mo. old. as is common, he needs to have teeth removed before they become infected.

Stuning looking , loving little dogs. Good with children and if they're socialised early they will get on well with other dogs. Plenty of cuddles and short walks and these little sweeties will be your friend for life. Although they're small they make good little guard dogs for the home as they alert you when anyone is hanging around your house or garden. They're great family pets and easy to look after. It is important that they're groomed regularly to avoid matting. Ponchos tend to have delicate stomached so natural food without fillers is best for them or home cooked chicken fish and raw veg .
