Yes I have had 2 pomeranians Mia died at the age of 11 1/2 years old. She was my baby. Stormy died at the age of 7. Vets never really told me what caused her death. I have blamed myself because she suffered so for a month. and they just kept changing her meds.

We adopted Louie from private owner , shortly after bringing him home I was bitten and some behavioral issues surfaced, our first thought was to return him, I instead wanted to take on the challenge and it was so worth it, Louie was the most lovable and loyal dog, 4 years ago Louie was diagnosed with diabetes and last Friday we lost him do to complications of diabetes , and I have to tell you there is a major void in my home and my heart . Just as soon as I will be able to adopt another Pom I will be, We were blessed with Louie for 14 years the last 4 with the diabetes,

We took care of a Pomeranian dog for 4 months and fell in love with her personality and sweet nature. Then we adopted a Pom and fell in love again. They don’t seem to shed much. They have a sweet, but feisty personality. Our rescue dog was older and we only had her for 13 months. We were told that she was 3 years old, but after an expensive examination because of bladder problems, we were told that she was 10 years old. She had a malignant tumor pressing on her bladder and her urethra. We miss her so much!

Love! Love! Love! I have been lucky to have had two Pomeranian dogs. From puppy on up to adults and as older dogs as well. All through their life they will be devoted and loyal pets. They tend to like one owner the most, but will climb into the last warm bed with anyone left sleeping 💤 like teenagers or older adults. Do well with younger kids in you watch the kids.. they can hurt small legs of these tough little dogs. They have small dog syndrome like short men lol they get along with other dogs as well, but Assert themselves as the alpha. I have a husky as well and my Pom runs the home! They do need to be brushed and cared for properly as coat can become tangled. They are great dogs!! I will always own a Pomeranian. Mixed poms are also great! Even better as they don’t yipp so much-

I had a pom since she was 6 months and passed away a little over 2 years. Snapper loved people and loved dogs till a dog bit her in the park. She was very protective of little kids and she was a love bug. She was a medium size pom. If I get a dog again I would recommend this breed. Trained her in a crate and after that she was great. She could be left alone for hours and she wouldnt do anything.

I called him Keebo. He is my precious baby. He is very beautiful and he is a clown. I found him at the Pasadena pound. He is a Pomeranian mix. He is a little bit bigger, then what a normal Pomeranian gets. When I walked by his cage at the Pound, he didn't look at me, like all the other dogs I walked by, he looked at the sky. After he was neutered and I went to pick him up, I was sitting in a little room, he came along a long corridor \, by himself, walked into the room, looked at me and jumped on my lap and started kissing me, like I was his long lost mummy and he had known me for a long time. Love at first site on both sites. That was about 6 years ago and we still love each other. He now has an older sister. We found at the same place, but she is a different kind of dog.

I Love My Pom!!! He's so so sweet and always busy doing something. He's playful and fun and funny and just great fun to be around. He's smart and happy and social. He barks when someone comes over, he's timid with other humans not in the family but loves every dog he meets. He takes long walks with me and thinks he's a big dog. His favorite breeds are Golden Retrievers and Huskies. I swear he thinks he's one of them!
