Ship From GFP
The Puppy Shipping Service has been developed to make certain that every possible detail is covered when providing transportation of a dog. Once you have chosen your new family member you want to be certain that they arrive safely into you and your family’s loving arms. The goal is to provide you with the best experience when adopting your pet. We know patience is limited when you are waiting to meet the newest member of your family so we strive to make your shipping experience quick and easy.
Cost – Airline Shipping costs start at $550 (Some breed, size, and age restrictions apply and could affect final shipping cost) (From May through September, Shipping Turnaround Time Is Affected due to higher temperatures)
What does the shipping fee cover?
- A puppy shipping service specialist will take care of your puppy from the time we pick them up from their birth home until the time they arrive at the departing airport.
- Your pooch will be provided with a brand-new puppy carrier featuring absorbent material to ensure comfort for the puppy, along with a small food and water dish.
- The pet carriers used are airline-approved kennels.
What Airline do you use to ship my Puppy?
-
- We use American Airlines for available pet destinations. Greenfield will work with you and your breeder to ensure this process goes as smoothly as possible. To learn about the steps taken by the Airline to ensure your pet’s travel is safe and secure, watch the video provided by American Airlines.

What do I need to know?
- Please click below to contact our shipping team once you have found the puppy of your dreams from one of our reputable breeders.
- Pet travel differs significantly from passenger travel.
- Pet travel is not possible at all airports. Please provide at least two international airports closest to you for the fastest turnaround.
- Any day or overnight kenneling expenses incurred due to flight delays or cancellations will be the responsibility of the individual picking up the puppy.
- Payment for the puppy and shipping costs are two separate transactions.
- We can help facilitate payment for your puppy.
- For the fastest shipping service, payment for your puppy can be made through Greenfield Puppies.
- Valid Photo ID is required for pet shipping.
- From May to September, temperatures are HOT. Please verify shipping availability to your location prior to purchasing your puppy from one of our breeders. In order to ship a puppy to your location, the temperature will need to be below 85 degrees at the time of puppy departure, any connections, and arrival. We will work with you to secure the first date that meets these criteria and appreciate your understanding.
- From December to March, temperatures are cold and the weather can be a concern, therefore delays in puppy shipments are fairly common. Please keep in mind our number one priority is the safe arrival of your puppy.
- Currently, our shipping services are available for most puppies located in PA. Please consult with our shipping department prior to purchasing a puppy for shipping.
- Due to current Airline restrictions, some snub-nosed breeds (Some examples: Mastiff Breeds, Shih Tzu, Pugs, Bulldogs) may not be able to be flown. Please check with the GFP shipping team before making a deposit on a puppy if you think they may be snub-nosed and a flight is required.

June 10, 2024I worked with greenfield puppies to get a pom from PA to CA. The breeder is Amish so it was hard to get photos or videos while waiting for my puppy but she was so communicative throughout the whole profess via phone. I was very pleased with Rachel Esh breeder. She scheduled all vet certification for the puppy and got her ready for flight.I received my puppy yesterday at SFO and was able to track her along the way and received her in a crate. I was nervous of her flight as she is 11 weeks and only 2.5 lbs. ( I had to wait after 8 weeks for her to gain some weight before flight) She had one stop and had water along the way. She seemed perfectly fine with no stress after retrieving her from AA cargo. I was very pleased with the service and am so excited about my new pom puppy!!Thank you again! My puppy is now with her forever home-Laticia and Elvira

April 30, 2024Hello,
I am happy with the way the process worked to get my puppy across the country. The staff at Greenfield Puppies were very responsive and easy to work with. I would use them again! My puppy arrived on time and best of all healthy and happy. Not being familiar with the airport they chose, I called the airline for directions to the office where I would pick up the puppy. Since the pick up location was not near the regular passenger pickup location it was very helpful to make that call ahead and stay on the line until they found someone who could help me. Overall I am happy with the process, pricing and my sweet puppy.Thank you!
Kaydie

March 22, 2024I love Greenfield Puppies, Mike you are awesome. Mike helped me surprise my sister with a German Shepherd puppy ( by the way, the puppy and my sister are in love with each other. My sister said it was love at first site). I thought this was going to be a painful, take a lot of time to do experience, Mike made this process so painless and easy and we had a puppy flown down to Florida in just a few days. Thank you so much for all your help and I would definitely get another puppy and I already highly recommended this to all my friends and family.Sincerely,Dawn

May 22, 2024Hello Mike, We are glad to finally have Ember with us! As far as the good you made the process very easy taking care of getting her to the airport, booking the flight etc. I am glad you reached out to me in the beginning because I wouldn’t want her stuck in a crate for days. The communication from you was very good, and you answered all my questions. The only negative thing I have to say is when I picked her up the crate smelled terribly from feces and urine from the trip. I understand when she is out of your hands that the airlines cannot take the animals out anywhere to use the bathroom and it’s just the nature of the trip. Which makes me glad we chose to fly her and she wasn’t stuck on a van for days.Thank you again!!Jonathan
