I went back east. and bought many dogs. still had to train them myself.. people don t sell real top coon dogs..had to train them myself. looking to buy a good finished dog. what are my chances now ?

We Rescue hounds . American Foxhounds, Treeing Walkers and Black & Tan Coonhounds. Black & Tans are by far the most intelligent of all the hounds. Take them to work if you drive for a living and they will remember things that you will not believe that they see on the road. If you point out any pet or animal they will actually look at your point. They will remember any park that you visited with them and the next time will turn to you and wonder why you did not stop. They will run to the tree not the squirrel to swat it as it goes around the tree to see where the dog is. When treeing a raccoon, they will stretch out that long body and scream whiteout coming up for air to announce their presence. They are affectionate, and quick learners if you name their stuffed toys when you ask to retrieve Mickey, or Frog, or Bear. If they are a rescue, take them to an enclosed area off leash to be sure they return to you for the first week or two. . If you have a calm environment, without screaming yelling at home they will do fine.
