For families who want a small dog with enough personality to be truly involved in family life, Samson has the kind of breed background that makes the Yorkiepoo so appealing. This mix combines the Yorkshire Terrier’s confident, lively nature with the Poodle’s intelligence and trainability.

Samson is played with by children, giving him regular experience with handling and the activity of a busy home. His dark coat, along with the small white marking on his chest, gives him a classic, handsome look.

His sire, Alex, is a 10 lb Yorkshire Terrier, and his dam, Zoey, is an 11 lb Miniature Poodle. Samson is expected to remain in a smaller companion size, though adult size can vary.
