We have had the pleasure of sharing our home with Carley for 14 years. We were told that she is half yorkie and half jack russell. She is the smartest dog either of us have ever known. She has a wonderful personality and disposition. She is so smart that we actually have to spell words around her to keep her from knowing our plans. We are both terrified of what our lives will be like once she leaves us. She is an old lady now. We know our time is short. One thing for certain, if ever we get another dog, I will look for another yorkie russell for sure.

I lost my yorkie russell 2 months ago. He was shy of 10 years old by 2 months. He was the perfect companion pet I have ever owned. I had named him Zoro because he had a “Z”on the back of his neck. I don’t think I could ever get over this lose. My only thought is to try and get the same type of dog too get even close to his personality (dogality?).

We just lost our beloved Heart and Soul dog at almost 15 years old she was a Yorkie/Russell she was great with our kids and adjusted to our years as empty nesters she adored our grandkids and her fur brother's and sister , she was more than any words could ever describe. Our entire family is so heart broken right now, but even thru the grief my husband said if he ever comes across another one he's gonna bring it home. We've had multiple breeds (mostly terriers) over our years this one literally stole our heart's and souls and replaced them with hers. We are better people and better dog parents because of her!

This is the best dog/ buddy I've ever had. I love him so much. He passed from IBD and I think it was triggered from Coccidia that he got from satin cat poo on a walk one day. Didn't stop him in time. Just waiting for the pain to go away before I get another sweet baby.
